Joyce Howard

Juggling has been a big part of my life. I love the juggling community and I treasure the friends I've made through my juggling hobby. I learned to juggle in college in the 70's. My family has been attending Atlanta juggling festivals since the early 80's and IJA summer festivals since 1988.

I'm the secretary and webmaster for the Atlanta Jugglers Association. Here is a video we made at our local Atlanta juggling club one night. Broadband Dial-up

Our family performed for many years for schools, churches, youth groups and corporations. Here's an article about my son's joggling world record.

I'm a life member of the IJA (International Jugglers Association). I served as their Merchandise Director, Store Manager and assistant Webmaster. I was also on the Board of Directors from 2004-2006.

Sometimes our juggling group marches with the Seed and Feed Marching Abominable Band. It’s a bunch of musicians (many of whom haven’t played since high school marching band), dancers and jugglers. They perform at malls, parades and festivals around Atlanta.

Each person designs their own wacky and colorful costumes and often there's a theme for each gig such as “tacky tourist, glitter and glitz, faux formal, etc.” The band creates a memorable and fun atmosphere wherever they perform and it’s wonderful seeing all the smiles and laughter in the audiences.
